First glimpse of CEBS's Pillar II at op risk event


The CEBS was formed earlier this year to help bring bank supervisory practices in the EU's 25 countries into line with each other -- said the organisation is in the process of digesting responses to its first consultation paper on Pillar II, which was issued in May this year. Within the EU, the CEBS is a level three organisation, which means it must flesh out what the legal directive text -- such as the Capital Adequacy Directive (CAD) -- means in practice, he said.
