Bridging the divide
Munich Re's new regional finance chief, Annett Rittershaus, says Asian insurers are still well behind their peers in Europe in terms of risk management techniques. She wants to help bridge this perceived knowledge gap. By Joe Marsh
Annett Rittershaus became Munich Re's first chief financial officer (CFO) for greater China and southeast Asia in September. One of her first tasks is to set up a network of insurance company CFOs in the region for the German reinsurance group from her base in Hong Kong.
