Skandia improves reconciliation timing

WOKINGHAM, ENGLAND -- Financial services provider Skandia UK Group said in May operational risk management software supplied by Accurate Software had reduced cash and securities reconciliation processing time by 40%.

Accurate said its software enables Skandia, a unit of Sweden’s Skandia Insurance Company, to feed in all the transactions related to holdings movements as well as external Bank of New York data.

Skandia said the software gave it the capacity to reconcile an additional 10,000 cash
