ANZ Bank Enhances London Market Risk Management Unit


ANZ Investment Bank, the investment banking arm of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, is expanding its London risk control unit in response to growing trading volumes, say bank officials.

The bank has hired three additional risk controllers and is now looking at upgrading its daily VAR reporting systems.

Rajesh Bhatia has been taken on as ANZ's head of risk supervision and control for financial markets in London. He joins ANZ from Deutsche Bank, where he was co-head of methodologies and
