Infinity 2000: Infinity Financial Technology has announced that the latest release of its derivatives trading and risk management software "operates flawlessly" with dates after December 31, 1999.

Mike Ahlmann, Infinity's director of quality assurance, says the Year 2000 issue is a good example of the benefits of object-oriented programming, since a single date object used in many modules can be modified in just one place.
