IFS research finds op risk measurement inadequacy

LONDON -- Less than one-third of wholesale financial service UK-based senior executives are confident that their employers can measure operational risk, according to research released in October by the Institute of Financial Services (IFS), the UK provider of educational support for the financial services industry. The research found that 68% of the approximately 50 UK-based wholesale financial service senior executives surveyed did not believe their employers could measure operational risk.
