Liffe Gets Credit Risk Shield From Pats' PTS And GNI

LONDON--The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (Liffe) has teamed with a handfull of ex-Liffe officials, clearing houses and a software company to construct what is essentially a filter that identifies and manages high-risk orders before being routed to the exchange.

The arrangement came about when former traders from Liffe offered at least 40 displaced Liffe locals an office, a screen and an opportunity to get back to work. They are doing it with the cooperation of City
