NYSE members approve changes


New York -- Members of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) have approved proposals introduced by interim chairman and chief executive officer John Reed. The proposals call for changes in how the exchange is governed, including amendments to its constitution and the reconstitution of the board of directors.

At a special meeting held at the New York Stock Exchange on November 18, the exchange members voted in favour of amendments to the NYSE constitution relating to its corporate governance
