SmartStream Launches Investigation Module

LONDON -- Software firm SmartStream Technologies in April launched HERMES CS, an investigations module that integrates reconciliation and exceptions in settlement systems.
SmartStream says HERMES CS helps banks improve back-office efficiency, increase straight-through processing rates and reduce operational risk.
HERMES CS is integrated with the latest version of SmartStream’s FTMS reconciliation and exception management package.
SmartStream said settlement exceptions pinpointed by the FTMS reconciliation modules are automatically forwarded to the HERMES CS module for investigation.
