LONDON--Cap Gemini UK, the business systems consultancy house, has announced plans to develop a mathematical model to measure operational risk in banks and securities houses. The move follows the publication of a survey looking into operational risk issues. The survey, which was commissioned by Cap Gemini, discovered sharp cultural differences between traders and risk managers. Less than 10 per cent of respondents felt their institutions have effective systems to measure and control operational
