GIRO paper: "Measurement or bust"

INSURANCE OVERVIEW

LONDON -- The General Insurance Research Committee (GIRO) of the UK-based Institute and Faculty of Actuaries presented a preliminary version of a paper titled GIRO 2003 -- Operational risk, measurement or bust at a conference in mid-October. The paper is part of a larger focus the GIRO group is bringing to operational risk within general insurers, and includes seminars, two new working groups and even a prize for a paper on the subject.
