Independent panel looking at corporate governance in Singapore

BANGKOK -- An independent panel will make recommendations to the Singapore government on improving Singapore’s corporate governance and disclosure practices, a senior Singapore regulator said in early September.

The proposed Council on Corporate Disclosure and Governance (CCDG), comprising business people, professional bodies and regulators, would represent a public and private sector collaboration, said Shane Tregillis, assistant managing director at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
