Risk not seen as top priority by global investment management

COPENHAGEN - Risk has moved down the priority list of reporting concerns despite the financial crisis. This is one of the findings in a global investment management risk survey from SimCorp StrategyLab.

A third of the respondents said they did not actively monitor long-term strategic risk on a frequent and systematic basis. This risk includes capital availability, sovereign and political risks and legal and regulatory changes.
