Bank of England calls for systemic reform

The UK central bank has released a financial stability paper highlighting required systemic reforms

LONDON – The Bank of England’s latest biannual Financial Stability Report presents statistics some industry commentators have dubbed as scary. The UK central bank’s paper looks at events culminating in the current market turmoil and developments from regulators across the globe.

It includes an in-depth look at how to safeguard against systemic risk and manage systemic crises better in the future, and in the meantime, how banks should address failings in their balance sheets and funding models
