360° of climate: indices for every objective

360° of climate – indices for every objective

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has stated that “…human activities are responsible for approximately 1.1° Celsius of warming since 1850–1900.” While current global climate policies aim to reduce baseline emissions, temperatures are still projected to rise between 2.5° and 2.9°C by 2100. The IPCC suggests limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5°C from pre-industrial levels.

To meet the demand for climate solutions, S&P Dow Jones Indices has created a spectrum of indexes incorporating a range of values and objectives to enable investors to respond to the risks and opportunities of the climate challenge.
