

Shades of green: sustainability guidance may not help EU funds
Talk of high SFDR hurdle for ESG funds stokes fears “sustainable” label will be unobtainable
The European Commission is readying guidance aimed at clearing up ambiguities within new sustainable finance disclosures. But it may not resolve all the industry’s concerns: there is widespread talk of an excessively demanding threshold for the amount of sustainable investments a product needs to meet the highest standard defined in the legislation.
On March 10, the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation entered into force, requiring funds marketed in the EU to disclose information backing up
