CFTC should explore standardised CCP stress tests – Wetjen
US derivatives regulator to consider further CCP risk management measures to improve transparency and global co-ordination
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission may force clearing entities to undertake standardised stress tests and contribute capital to the guarantee fund, according to CFTC commissioner Mark Wetjen.
Speaking at the FIA Asia conference today (December 4), Wetjen said risk management of central counterparties (CCPs) was of paramount importance, especially as the amount of cleared derivatives
