Recent predictions by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) suggest that the City is expected to shed 6500 jobs as a result of the weakening financial markets in 2007. Some of those cuts may affect our readers and so here we explain, from an employee's point of view, when to be worried and what to do about the threat of dismissal.
