Fears over UK representation in Europe voiced in FCA report

Regulatory restructuring risks are undermining the UK's relationship with European regulators, financial industry groups have warned.

The London and International Insurance Brokers Association warned the UK government that splitting up the Financial Services Authority (FSA) would "weaken the UK's voice" among the European Supervisory Authorities, in a comment on the Treasury Select Committee's report about the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published on January 13.
