On January 28, 2011 the New York Times Magazine published an assertive – abusive might not be overstating the case – interview with Goldman Sachs investment strategist Abby Joseph Cohen.

After an off-base attempt to hold Cohen personally accountable for her company’s hiring and promotion policies, as well as its handling of a controversial Facebook financing, interrogator Deborah Solomon demanded that Cohen justify high compensation for bankers at a time when US unemployment was approaching 10%
