ACI launches fixed income product on back of investor demand

The Fixed Income Plan 15 pays 0.5% every month over its five-year and one-month term, regardless of the FTSE's performance. Capital is at risk if the index is at less than 50% of its initial recorded value at maturity, in which case principal will be lost 1:1.

The counterparty is Abbey National Treasury Services, which is rated at AA by Standard & Poor's. Minimum investment is £3,600 up to a maximum of £2,000,000 and the product closes for subscription on September 4.
