Barclays targets fund investors with latest Growth Plan

If the FTSE has fallen by more than 50% at maturity from its initial starting level, then investors will have both the fixed return and their initial capital reduced by the amount the index has fallen in percentage terms.

The product will be open for subscription until October 5 2009, and the minimum direct investment in the plan is £3,600 up to a maximum of £500,000. Woolwich Plan Managers will be responsible for managing the investment.
