Krein moves into the mainstream

David Krein has joined Dow Jones Indexes as senior director, institutional markets, moving from DTB Capital, a financial services firm that he founded in 2006. Krein will be a representative of DJ Indexes to the institutional investment community globally. In this capacity, he will be responsible for informing and consulting institutional clients on all products and services that Dow Jones Indexes offers.

Additionally, Krein will guide research and development of new and enhanced benchmarks and will be responsible for the integrity of the benchmarks.

Krein was president of DTB Capital, which developed trading and structured investment products for derivatives exchanges and the over-the-counter market. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years in various trading, structuring and technology positions at leading investment banks, including UBS and Merrill Lynch.
