Linklaters makes Michael Kent financial markets head

Michael Kent will become global head of UK law firm Linklaters’ financial markets group in November.

Kent has dealt with legal issues arising from financial markets regulation for more than 15 years. He counts investment banks, investment managers, trading platform and exchanges among his clients.

Current group head Paul Nelson will stay at Linklaters, and will also work as the first National Association of Securities Dealers professor of regulation and compliance at the University of Reading.
