Singapore central bank deputy chair notes progress in Asia’s corporate governance

Speaking at the OECD Asian Corporate Governance Roundtable last week, Shanmugaratnam said: “Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand all adopted new codes in 2002, while new or updated codes have been adopted in Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Indonesia and South Korea since 2003. This has yielded visible benefits.”
