A group of European associations – CESR, CEBS and CEIOPS – has published a joint consultation paper on draft Impact Assessment guidelines, to be used by the EU Level 3 Committees, which aim to provide the Committees’ Expert Groups as they formulate recommendations. The commitment to develop a methodology comes after European Institutions agreed to implement the principles of better regulation for legislative practice.
