CESR sets out work programme and consultations for Mifid

The EU securities regulators have outlined their programme to implement Mifid requirements, marking the end of the legislative phase for the directive.

EU securities regulators have published plans and further consultations for the operational phase of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid). The Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) has announced that now the legislative phase of Mifid is complete, the regulators will focus on strengthening supervisory convergence.
