Jury out over CESR's review of credit rating agencies

PARIS & BRUSSELS - The future of the ratings agencies in Europe will be determined by a report due this May from the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) judging whether credit ratings agencies (CRAs) require regulation from the European Commission. The deadline for industry consultation expired on 31 March and the jury is out.
