PPF chief executive quits

Myra Kinghorn, chief executive of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), is to step down from her position this month. Kinghorn has no new post to go to and is instead going to improve her "work-life balance".

The PPF chief-executive is a former non-executive director of the Serious Fraud Office and member of the OPRA Board, and has resigned less than 12 months after taking up her position.

Kinghorn is working out her six-month notice period and the PPF board expects to name a replacement to take over her duties before this ends.
