EU finally publishes third CAD draft

The draft itself is massive, weighing in at several hundred pages if the annexes and explanatory document are included. In addition, the EU Commission has published a special analysis of the results of the third quantitative impact study (QIS3), released by the Basel Committee for Banking Supervision in late April. The last draft of the CAD was produced in November 2002.

The new working document is divided into six parts, and includes 12 annexes. More detailed analysis of the contents of the CAD
