Malcolm Knight named BIS chief

Knight has served as the senior deputy governor of the Bank of Canada since 1999, and is the bank’s chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors. There, he was responsible for the oversight of strategic planning and corporate risk management, and co-ordination of the bank’s operations.
