UK launches website for contingency planning

LONDON -- In late April, UK financial regulators launched a joint website -- www.financialsectorcontinuity.gov.uk -- on the UK financial sector’s contingency planning in the wake of the September 11 attacks on New York’s financial district.

The website is intended as a central point of information about work on continuity planning in the financial sector, and will help users who want to know who is doing what in the area.

It is run by the Bank of England, the UK Treasury and the Financial
