Creditmetrics Draws 12 New Co-Sponsors

JP Morgan has signed up 12 new co-sponsors for Creditmetrics, the bank's recently launched methodology for measuring the risks associated with portfolios of credit-based instruments.

The additional co-sponsors include Standard & Poor's and Moody's Investor Services, the two leading global credit ratings agencies, together with six banks and four accountancy houses.

James Satloff, managing director of S&P's product development group, says the agency endorses the "portfolio view of credit exposure"
