Prepared for Sarbanes-Oxley? Think again, experts say

REGULATORY UPDATE

NEW YORK -- A new Pricewaterhouse Coopers management barometer survey of senior executives shows that 82% of all respondents are confident their firms comply fully with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Survey results indicate that implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley has resulted in new compliance practices and controls at more than 80% of US multinational companies, but only a third of respondents expect the new law to effectively restore investor confidence.
