Utimaco Safeware Launches Mobile Authentication Server System

HONG KONG -- Security software provider Utimaco Safeware Asia said in August it had launched mobile authentication server (MAS), a security system for logging on to access-protected internet services, such as electronic banking or broking. Utimaco Safeware Asia is the Asia-Pacific arm of Germany’s Utimaco Safeware.

MAS uses a one-off password to ensure user authentication in web servers, firewall systems, remote-access systems and access systems in computing centres, the firm said.
