UK to issue op risk paper in August
LONDON -- The UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) plans to issue a consultative paper on operational risk systems and controls in August, the agency -- the UK’s principal financial market watchdog -- said in May.
FSA managing director Michael Foot said the paper would form part of the FSA’s policy of "building consideration of operational risk into every aspect of our regulatory approach".
The paper will cover "what we think firms should be doing to control their operational risk, including
