FDIC and FSA sign MOU on information exchange

Agreement formalises cross-border co-operation, consultation and information exchange

LONDON – The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will provide formal information sharing and contingency planning arrangements in connection with cross-border banking activities in the US and the UK. The MOU is designed to enhance the ongoing working relationship between the two authorities.
