EC moderates CRD revisions

The European Commission (EC) has revealed a final version of a proposal to amend the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD). The October 1 proposal outlines a number of changes to the original, including a retention charge for bank originators of securitisation deals, limits on interbank exposures and a 'college of supervisors' initiative.
