European regulators not yet ready for Mifid

Many European regulators are lagging behind in their interpretation and implementation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid), warned delegates attending the Swiss Futures and Options Association annual conference in Burgenstock, Switzerland, in mid-September. Mifid will be introduced across the European Union (EU) in November 2007.
