The results are in. The market has spoken and, apparently, just eight investment banks dominate the German structured products market. Paul Lyon presents the findings

Last month, Structured Products polled German distributors (in both the retail and high-net-worth markets) to find out who their favourite structurers were. It was the first time we had conducted such a survey for just one country, and it was broadly based on the wider European distributor survey that ran in our October 2006 issue. Somewhat surprisingly, only eight banks featured in the top three for each of the eight categories in this German survey, while there were also eight dominant banks
