Capitalab co-founder quits firm
David Bachelier leaves BGC-owned compression venture after seven years
David Bachelier, co-founder and managing director of BGC-owned optimisation platform Capitalab, has left the firm after seven and a half years.
A former interest rate options trader at BNP Paribas, Bachelier founded Capitalab in 2015 with Gavin Jackson, who previously headed rates within the French bank’s quant development division.
Risk.net understands Bachelier has left Capitalab of his own accord to pursue other fintech interests. He is understood to be considering a move to a digital asset
