Lazards team joins Jupiter

Jupiter is anticipating the arrival of John Chatfeild-Roberts and his multi-manager team from Lazards in mid-March.

It intends to launch a fund of unit trusts and a fund of hedge funds to be run by Chatfeild-Roberts and colleagues Algy Smith-Maxwell and Peter Lawery.

According to Edward Bonham Carter, joint group chief executive at Jupiter, the three have already signed contracts with Jupiter and handed their resignation in to Lazards.

Last week, Chatfeild-Roberts and Smith-Maxwell went to visit
