Beacon and Zacks go offshore

Beacon Global Advisors has joined up with Zacks Investment Management to market the offshore version of its quantitative small-cap equity market neutral strategy.

The offshore fund, the Beacon Offshore Market Neutral Fund Three, builds on Zacks' seven years' experience in market neutral strategies, according to the group.

The underlying strategy uses the Zacks Indicator Model as the primary tool for stock selection, according to John Groth, managing director of Beacon Global Advisors. Zacks'
