• London hedge fund manager Zelengora Capital Management has hired Carlo Krajniewski to manage and develop the firm's credit and capital arbitrage businesses. Krajniewski's primary focus will be long/short credit and capital structure arbitrage. Carlo joins Zelengora from a background of equity derivatives at BZW, Euro bonds at Salomon Brothers and structured credit at Merrill Lynch.

• Pioneer Investments has appointed Neil Robson as head of global equities, reporting to head of the equity team
