Optima debuts US equity hedge fund
Optima Fund Management is to launch a US small and medium capitalization equity hedge fund.
The Lee Munder Growth Fund, which will open on 1 January, focuses on technology, healthcare and business services.
The team is led by Andrew Beja and Jonathan Stone who joined the company in August 2000. The two were previously at Standish, Ayer & Wood. From August 2000 through 31 October 2001 they generated
