Doupe and Ganung join Frank Russell

Frank Russell Company, a global investment services firm, has appointed Derek Doupe as associate director of alternative investments.

Doupe will be based in the company's London office and will assist in hedge fund research and developing investment solutions for Frank Russell Company clients looking to access alternative investments.

Doupe joins Frank Russell Company from William M Mercer Investment Consulting, where he headed the firm's research into hedge funds and, in particular, its role in pension fund portfolios for UK and European-based clients. Also joining Doupe will be Jeffrey Ganung, as director of alternative investments.

He is relocating from Frank Russell Company's headquarters in Tacoma in the US to help establish the European product offerings in alternative investment.

Frank Russell Company began researching hedge funds in the US in 1986 and started managing funds of hedge funds in 1987. The company will expand its London-based hedge fund resources as industry and client demand increases in Europe.
