UK bank Barclays has made a number of new hires in its Asia business, with Igor Arsenin joining the bank’s Singapore practice as managing director and head of emerging Asia interest rates strategy. He will report to Nigel Chalk, head of emerging Asia research who was brought in to strengthen the firm’s regional research capabilities in June this year.
