UBS creates new chief risk officer role for Asia-Pacific

Swiss investment bank UBS has created a new role of chief risk officer for Asia-Pacific investment banking, moving Jeanne Short across from London to take up the Hong Kong-based position at the end of August.

Prior to her appointment, Judy Chiang, responsible for credit risk control for investment banking, and Marc van Eijck, responsible for market risk control for investment banking, jointly led the risk function. They both retain their roles and will report to Short.
