A roundup of new hires and other moves in the region's financial and risk markets


HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Sten Ankarcrona as chief executive for Singapore replacing Patrick Tse, who will return to Hong Kong to take up a regional business management role with HSBC Global Asset Management.

Ankarcrona will report to Joanna Munro, chief executive for Asia Pacific, HSBC Global Asset Management and locally to Paul Arrowsmith, head of retail banking and wealth management, HSBC Singapore.

Ankarcrona joined HSBC in 2004 as managing director of HSBC Global Asset
