Risk head leaves Isda

David Murphy, Rivast

David Murphy has left the International Swaps and Derivatives Association to focus his attention on Rivast, a consultancy he founded six years ago.

Murphy, who was head of risk at Isda from May 2010 until early August, also had responsibility for research after the departure of the previous incumbent, David Mengle, in January this year.

Isda hired Peter Sime to be head of research in May. Sime was previously head of risk for Europe at Wells Fargo, and confirms he will be looking after Murphy's
